Andronas Conservation Architecture is an award-winning practice focused on heritage architecture.
The practice has undertaken a number of important restoration projects, including St. Patrick's and St Paul’s Cathedrals in Melbourne, and Newman College in Parkville, and has significant experience in the design and construction of new buildings in historically sensitive contexts.
During the 2026 Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Smeg Australia (Collingwood) has supported the GFWS by assisting with the hosting of a number events at their gorgeous Victoria Parade Showroom & Kitchen, supported by Imelda & Cassandra, the amazing inhouse chefs.

Meni Valle is an Australian- Greek cookbook author and has become one of Australia’s most respected authorities on Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, a food writer, cookbook author, and passionate cultural ambassador.

As President of the Greek Food & Wine Society of Australia, Meni brings together her culinary expertise and deep cultural roots to champion authentic Greek food, produce, and wine.Â

She was proud to present and host events at the 2026 Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, is the author of seven cookbooks, including the Eugénie Brazier Prize-winning Ikaria (2020), and has had her work featured in Vogue, Marie Claire, The Telegraph UK, and ABC Radio.

Through her cookbooks, culinary retreats, and cooking classes, and now as President of the Greek Food & Wine Society, Meni continues to inspire a new generation to discover and celebrate Greek cuisine.

Aggie Vlahos
Vice President
Aggie is a partner with Elit Lawyers at McGirr & Snell. Aggie’s diversity enables clients to engage an astute and sensitive lawyer who can navigate interconnected areas of expertise during a dispute, particularly when it comes to issues relating to family law, wills, estates and probate, employment, corporate and commercial. In her commercial practice, Aggie regularly advises businesses and Associations as to their legal and regulatory obligations. Â

Aggie is a member of the Law Council of Australia (Family Law Section), the Law Institute of Victoria and the Industrial Relations Society (Victoria).
Aggie is a wife and mother of two sons and enjoys all things culinary, taking particular delight in the new wave of Greek eateries spreading across Melbourne.
Arthur Andronas

Arthur Andronas is a Melbourne-based Greek-Australian architect and director of Andronas Conservation Architecture, a firm specialising in the conservation of culturally significant buildings across Australia.

A passionate advocate for Greek culture and heritage, Arthur has dedicated much of his life to the Greek-Australian community both professionally and personally. As Treasurer of the Greek Food and Wine Society, he brings the same care and precision that has defined his distinguished career.

Argyris is an Australian culinary historian, Greek wine educator and  importer and Event organiser.

Argyris has been an instrumental part of various Food, Coffee roasting & Australian distilled spirits competitions, managing many of the events, over the last 15 years.

With a passion for Community & Creative Arts, Argyris has also assisted as an organiser and board member, and has a working and academic background in journalism, food writing and food studies.Â
